Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate, highly-skilled, and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our dynamic Home Health care team. In this role, you will be working in our clients' homes, providing essential support with personal hygiene and domestic tasks, tailored to their individual needs and limitations. Your role will be crucial in offering compassionate care, assisting in daily activities, and documenting the clients' progress to ensure their overall well-being.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel to clients' homes, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
- Warmly and professionally greet clients upon arrival.
- Understand and adapt to the limitations and needs of each individual client.
- Provide basic domestic services such as meal preparation, laundry, and light housework.
- Engage in meaningful companionship and conversation with clients.
- Run errands as required, either with or for the client.
- Assist with mobility, helping clients with transitions in and out of bed, wheelchairs, etc.
- Remind clients about medication schedules and document their compliance.
- Help with personal hygiene tasks including dental care, toileting, and bathing.
- Regularly change bed linens and maintain a clean living environment.
- Assist with all daily activities, tailored to the client’s needs and limitations.
- Maintain a caring and positive presence for the client.
- Document and log the client's progress and well-being in daily reports.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification in first aid and CPR preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong preference for candidates with significant Home Health care experience.
- Experience in domestic work or housekeeping is a plus.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent communication and conversational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist in moving clients.
- Patience and calmness in stressful situations.
- Willingness to perform a range of domestic and personal tasks as requested by clients.
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability.

- Dedication to treating clients with dignity and respect.
