Home Health Aide (Hha)

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Help patients with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

Skills:
- Previous experience in patient care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of systems for assisting individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Familiarity with assisted living principles and practices
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record them appropriately
- Proficient in meal preparation, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining medical records and documentation
- Ability to follow instructions and care plans effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
