Responsibilities
- Be a companion to someone that is lonely.
- Provide personal hygiene assistance and attend to your client's basic needs.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation.
- Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.).
- Plan and prepare meals.
- Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so.
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting clients so they can stay in their home!
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every day
- You have a compassionate and supportive manner about you
- Available to work the shifts you want, including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment a plus but not required.
- No experience but want a career in caregiving - We will train you.
