Position Summary
In-Home Caregiving helps someone remain independent and in their own home as early as 6 AM till 10 PM at night. CLA does not provide overnight care. Caregivers express that their work is extremely rewarding and gives them a sense of worth being able to help others. The work you do every day as an in-Home Caregiver has a purpose and helps another individual.
Work under the supervision of an RN with a variety of clients. This position offers flexible workdays, no mandated hours/overtime, guaranteed hours, every other weekend off, and the opportunity to gain lots of hands-on experience with a variety of clients. The position will travel to multiple clients per day to provide care in the client's home and be compensated with mileage reimbursement and paid travel time between clients.
While each person is unique and has different care needs, below is a sample of personal cares you may provide while caring for an individual at Community Living Alliance:
- Meal preparation
- Personal cares
- Transfer Clients
- Lift clients with Hoyer Lift Independently
- Provide assistance with household chores
- Completed required documentation of records of care

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- 18+ years of age
- Own a Smart Phone for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance to serve clients throughout Dane County
- Available to work every-other-weekend
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Capable of lifting/moving/pushing/pulling 35 pounds
- 6 months of experience delivering personal cares
- In-home experience, preferred
