Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or those in need of nursing home or hospice care. Your role will involve helping residents with daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their independence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Help residents with mobility and transfers
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents
- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and families to develop individualized care plans
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
- Familiarity with nursing home or hospice care is a plus
- Knowledge of resident rights and social work principles is beneficial
