An Emerest Caregiver (CNA/PCA /Homemaker/Companion) - is responsible for providing compassionate and dedicated care to elderly or disabled individuals in their homes.
Homemaker and Companion Sample Duties:
- Provide a supportive and comfortable environment
- Assist with phone calls and correspondence
- Provide recreational activities and friendly conversation
- Assist with errands and supervise activities as directed, such as taking medication, dressing, etc.
- Provide transportation of client to physician, recreation, activities,
- Meal preparation, planning and shopping, light housekeeping, laundry
- Laundry
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Changing linens
- Washing dishes
- Washing floors
PCA/CNA Sample Duties:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities
- Preparing and serving meals, monitoring nutrition, and providing assistance with eating and drinking
- Medication reminders and assisting with medical treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Providing transportation to appointments and running errands for clients
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the client
- Keeping accurate records of client care and reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate parties
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients and their families
- Assist with dressing
- Meal preparation
- Light housework
- Assistance with bathing.
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Escort to medical appointments / errands

- 10 hour shift
