A senior Home Care business is seeking a proactive and caring Home Care Assistant/Concierge to join our team part-time to full-time in Crystal Coast area, North Carolina. As an individual contributor, you will work directly with clients in their homes, providing support and assistance with daily activities. You will also serve as a concierge, helping clients with errands and tasks outside of the home. This is an hourly position with a competitive compensation range of $14 to $17 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship, be a good listener
- Assist with household tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Accompany clients on outings and appointments, as needed
- Help with errands and tasks outside of the home, such as grocery shopping and medication pick-up
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and any changes in clients' condition
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to ensure their needs are being met
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety regulations established by Personal
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in Home Care or caregiving preferred
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
