History Teacher - Upper Division
The Upper Division History & Religious Studies department is searching for a passionate and devoted high school History Teacher. The ideal candidate will be an experienced classroom teacher who is well versed in the instruction of AP European History, American Government and Economics. The Upper Division History & Religious Studies Department at Berkeley Preparatory School is dedicated to teaching high school students the intricacies of academic research and writing.
The successful candidate will have a background in instructing students how to complete the research process and compose significant academic written work, as well as be a well-rounded individual who has a growth mindset, the desire and ability to work collaboratively with the members of the History & Religious Studies Department and be excited about becoming an active member of the Berkeley community.
Compensation and Benefits:
The appointment will begin August 2024 and is a full-time position with full benefits. The compensation package will be very competitive nationally and commensurate with experience, degree attainment, and the national independent school and college markets.
