Form of workMaxim Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring experienced Medical Assistants to support a health insurance office in the Orange County area!
Location: Orange
Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:30 AM
Setting: Office and In-Person
Pay: $20 - $25/hour DOE
Experience & Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in a health care or managed care setting required.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position such as those listed above is also qualifying.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical billing and coding experience.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- Concurrent Review and Utilization Management experience.
- *Bilingual in English and in: (Arabic, Farsi, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese)*
Knowledge of:
- Medical terminology, International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding.
- Medi-Cal and Medicare benefits and regulations.
