SalaryResponsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients in various settings, including homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication and monitor vital signs under the supervision of a nurse
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in their daily activities and promote independence
- Provide end-of-life care and support to patients in hospice settings
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected at all times
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassion and empathy towards individuals in need of care
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices, including vital sign monitoring
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus
- Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for patients
