FST Technical Services was founded in 1984 to serve the needs of the growing, worldwide Semiconductor/Microelectronics and Life Sciences industries. We began as an independent interface between our clients and their subcontractors to establish build clean installation methods that satisfied internal specifications and conformed to regulatory requirements.
In 2018, FST was excited to add AMA Consultants into our corporate umbrella. AMA has a similar corporate history to FST and deep expertise in the Life Sciences industry. Today, our AMA division provides the foundation of our Life Sciences industry expertise.

FST Technical Services is seeking entry level Quality Assurance Technicians. This is a great opportunity for candidates that want to get their foot in the door of high-tech construction. Construction QA/QC is a great profession, but also provides a strong foundation of experience for those that aspire to move into Construction Management. Although travel is not required for these positions, once training is complete, we have national and international opportunities for those interested!
The roles & responsibilities may sound overwhelming at first, but our team of seasoned professionals are great mentors and are patient with entry level workers that work hard to succeed.
The typical roles & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform quality assurance testing of systems supporting liquids, gases, chemicals, and solvents.
- Become qualified to operate conventional analytical equipment such as Moisture, Oxygen, Particulate, TOC. Resistivity contamination and Mass Spectrometer Helium Leak detection.
- Once trained, work with Contractor supervision on functions and requirements for installations. Assist the customer in identifying and solving construction quality problems and perform all necessary tasks.
- Participate in Pre-Planning and Site Programs.
- Once trained, troubleshoot technical issues and quality contamination discrepancies, and have the ability to plan, schedule, execute and report data in a professional manner.
- Be mechanically inclined, able to work in high pressure situations effectively without confrontation
- Once trained, have technical understanding of process gas systems and hazards associated with working around chemicals.
