Rising Tide Charter Public School has an immediate opening for a High School Dance Teacher Long-Term Substitute. Applicants must have a strong background in Dance as well as a passion for working with High School students,.

School Profile:

Rising Tide Charter Public School (Rising Tide) is a free charter public school in Massachusetts. Rising Tide serves approximately 620 students in grades 5-12 from 20 towns in the school’s designated region; the majority of the students are residents of Plymouth.

Rising Tide provides an academically challenging environment with high standards for all in a safe, small, and rewarding setting. Teachers develop the curriculum based upon the schoolwide objectives, benchmark skills, and subject area essential questions; the curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks. Teachers are encouraged to utilize an inquiry-based approach for building skills, content knowledge and understanding within the classroom. At Rising Tide, full-time teachers are a part of grade-level and curricular teams, are advisors for students, and are given opportunities for leadership within the school. Teachers also design and implement elective courses in addition to the courses in their primary discipline.

Rising Tide Goals:

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include designing and implementing curriculum, assessing student progress, and working together with grade-level and curricular teams in teaching and learning to build a supportive school environment.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $225.00 - $325.00 per day
