The Home Health CNA/HHA
- Assists patient with personal hygiene, bathing and grooming, transfer, ambulation, exercise, dressing and toileting.
- Assists patient with medications that are self-administered, if Home Health Aide is qualified.
- Reports changes in patient condition in a timely manner to the supervising Registered Nurse or Clinical Manager.
- Provides patient with nutritional support by preparing meals and feeding, if necessary.
- Takes patient’s vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations.
- Maintains a safe and clean environment in patient’s home.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a training or competency program as required by State/Federal
- Six (6) months of work experience in a related field
- Current CPR certification done in person (on-line CPR certification not accepted)
- 75 Hour Home Health Training
