Alliance Homecare is looking for a Certified Home Health Aide to work with a client in Jackson Heights, NY.

$23 per hour
- Client: Female, 74 Years Old
- Primary Diagnosis: Alzheimer's
- Location: Jackson Heights, NY
- Schedule: Friday and Saturday 9a-3p
Client Details:
- Client goes to diner every morning when caregiver arrives.
- Caregiver accompanies client to church every Friday.
- She can be unsteady, must use a walker outside.
- Client will say yes to shower every other day, caregiver to assist. Client wears a diaper.
- Client gets compression boot treatments in the home daily, caregiver to place the boot.
- Caregiver performs basic ADLs (laundry, meal prep, etc.)
- She is kind, but not chatty and does not like having noise/interruptions in her home.
Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care:
- Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, accompanying to appointments, and errands
- Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
- Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
- Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
- Observe and report all changes to RN
- Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
- Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice

HHA Job Requirements:
- Must have an active New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
- Must have at least 1 year of HHA experience
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Fluency in English
