Helpdesk Support -Part-Time 25 Hours

We are seeking part-time (25 Hours per week) Helpdesk talent to provide Tier 1 support on all endpoints and for all users. This includes ticket creation and assignment, password resets, computer maintenance and installation, basic hardware, and software repair. Additional responsibilities are highlighted below:

• Respond to tickets in a timely manner.
• Document, track, and monitor support requests to ensure a timely resolution.
• Collecting and forwarding all relevant information prior to escalation to allow Tier 2 and up staff to operate efficiently.
• Coordinate with IT Service Help Desk Tier 2 and 3 Personnel for tickets requiring escalation.
• Collaborate with other desktop support staff for effective knowledge transfer and workload balancing across platforms.
• Image and deploy equipment.
• Install various applications with assistance as needed.
• Assist and complete IT Department projects as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service as part of the Client Experience team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
• General PC Knowledge, and basic navigation of current operating systems.
• Must be able to work and travel independently and use general office equipment.

This position is located at our main office at 1400 8th Ave South, Nashville, TN 37203. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Compensation: $18-$19 per hr.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum six (6) months to a year of experience as a desktop support technician or equivalent.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac OS (Windows preferred).
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment where changes in new technologies and applications occur frequently.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Server Maintenance, Report Writing and IT Security experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

The job requires walking, sitting, bending, stooping, standing for long periods of time, or similar activities. Employees frequently lift objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift heavy objects from 26 to 50 pounds, yet seldom from 51 to 100 pounds. Employees will be required to install device hardware, which may include working under desks, overhead, reaching, bending, etc.
