The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Provide support to customers nationwide 2pm-11pm Sunday- Thursday. This is flex position with days in office and remote.
  • Communicate regularly with our client and their teams to understand their technology needs and concerns.
  • Analyze information, identify current and potential problems, and propose solutions.
  • Ensures that computer and network operations are monitored backup/recovery functions are performed on a scheduled basis and administration functions for hardware, operating and application systems are maintained and completed on a consistent basis
  • The position is responsible for the implementation, daily operation, support, integrity, and security of the technology and data (including PCI compliance) that support and enable the business operations for all of our clients.
  • Supports active directory (creating and modifying GPO’s and VB scripts), email systems (i.e. Office 365), virtualization, monitoring and remote management software.
  • Identifying and correcting all LAN and WAN issues.

The qualifications and requirements for this position include:

  • Knowledge of computers, servers, and networks
  • 1-2 years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills. The ability to provide exceptional customer service to our entire hotel portfolio.
  • The ability to work efficiently and expedite tasks in a time-sensitive manner, as well as work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the following software and hardware:
    • Windows (Active Directory)
    • VMware
    • Cisco, Meraki, HP, and Lenovo (servers, switches, WAP’s, Controllers, workstations, security appliances, etc.)

Knowledge of the following list below is preferred for the candidate:

  • Hospitality-driven applications (POS, PMS, Keys, Sales & Marketing Systems, etc.)
  • PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance.
  • Advanced understanding of DHCP, DNS, and IP protocols.

***This is a full-time position that may involve non-standard hours and will require being part of a rotating on-call schedule with other engineers.
