Job Description
The Help Desk Operator is responsible for first-level service incident resolution and service request fulfillment. This work includes all level one support and system related issues that are reported to the Support Center. This position will report directly to the Support Center Manager. This is an hourly position located at our Riverside MIS department.

The Help Desk Operator is responsible for first-level service incident resolution and service request fulfillment. This work includes all level one support and system related issues that are reported to the Support Center. This position will report directly to the Support Center Manager. This is an hourly position located at our Riverside MIS department.
- Requires some knowledge of general information technology, including PC set-up, operating system usage, and related peripheral hardware usage.
- Solid communication and troubleshooting skills required.
- Need to work well within a structured team environment.
Requirements
- Identifying and monitoring all issues and incidents via tracking system.
- Installation of wireless equipment, personal computers, printers, and related software.
- Some training and user level assistance on those same items are also required.
- Duties will include minor repair efforts, contacting vendors, regularly scheduled maintenance work.
- Assistance with general technology operations monitoring tasks and activities.
- Must be able to troubleshoot over the phone and follow proper procedures and protocol.
- Must be familiar with Remote Desktop Applications.
