No Experience needed, Paid Training will be provided!

Applicants must be committed to attending shifts daily, on time, with enthusiasm for teaching. All applicants must be available either:

Monday- Friday 7:45 AM- 12:00 PM and Saturdays 8:30 AM- 12:30 (Saturdays scheduled 2-3 times a month)

or

Monday-Friday 12:00 PM- 5:00 PM and Saturday Mornings 8:30- 12:30 to apply. (Saturdays scheduled 2-3 times a month)

Applied Behavior Consultants, Inc. is hiring for part time staff to work 1:1 with children 18 months and older who are diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disorders. Staff will work in our Stockton Center, homes or schools based on client needs. In this position you can help our clients learn to communicate, play, make friends and decrease challenging behaviors.

As a Behavior Technician, you will be trained in this unique area of helping children allowing for a true career! We provide Paid Training and supervision to become a Registered Behavior Technician within the first 90 days of employment. Current RBT's will be eligible for a sign-on bonus after completing the introductory period.

All team members must have a genuine desire to Help Children with Autism and their families achieve goals and connect to the community as a whole through the use of ABC's R.E.A.L model. They must also have the ability to multitask and help maintain a positive work environment for clients and co-workers.

Additional Base Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School diploma/GED completed prior to applying
  • Driver's license and own insured vehicle to travel as needed
  • Ability to pass California DOJ & FBI fingerprint and background clearance
  • TB clearance before starting training
  • Immunizations: MMR, Tdap/Dtap/DTP, Varicella (Chickenpox) before starting training
  • Must be able to run, walk and engage with clients for long periods of time.

The salary range is the range ABC, Inc., in good faith, believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level. Even within the range, the actual compensation will vary depending on the above factors as well as market/business considerations.
