Service Manager Job Description
The Service Manager leads all service operations. Accounting for Service Technician productivity, P&L budgeting for service department, training and support of Service Technicians and Yard Associates, prioritization of work orders, maintaining a safe and organized working environment are essential to the position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assigning shop work, tracking and dispatching field service, monitoring shop and field maintenance repair records.
Implement and enforce all safety procedures, policies, and monthly meetings and monthly safety checklist.
Schedule, prioritize, and perform timely repairs on rental equipment and customer equipment.
Ensure customer repairs are being billed per company SOP.
Creating/monitoring work schedules, maintain proper accounting of Service Technician productivity.
Monitor down equipment, assuring that down equipment report mirrors physical down line.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist mechanics with parts ordering
Assist with yearly parts inventory
Assist with yearly rental inventory
Requirements/Qualifications
Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Rental management software experience a plus.
Attention to detail and accuracy, flexibility, prioritizing, and problem assessment/solving.
Customer service, communication, multi-tasking, organizational skills, patience, leadership.
Clean and neat appearance.
Overall knowledge of construction related equipment.

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
