We currently have opportunities for Heavy Equipment Operatorsto join our construction teams.
Key Functions
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of construction Heavy Equipment, such as, but not limited to: skid steers, mini-excavators, excavators, back-hoes, compactors, loaders, blades, scrapers, and dozers
- Perform road work, excavation work, lifting work, etc.
- Safely perform labor functions and operate small engine construction equipment, such as, but not limited to jumping jacks, wacker plates, compressors, and hand-power tools
- Perform routine inspections on equipment and report any defects
- Strict adherence to complying with safety policies and procedures
- Provide support to successful completion of construction and engineering work
Qualifications
- Construction experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience strongly preferred

- Devoted in following code of ethics
- Good relationship building ability
- Must be able to work various shifts, days and overtime as needed
- Must be able to work out of town
Physical Requirements
- Capable of lifting 25 to 50 lbs. regularly
- Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement
- Sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Reach with hands and arms
- Bend at the waist, kneel, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
- Climb ladders/steps
- Continuous use of hands and fine manipulation
- Walk varying distances and on uneven ground at times
- Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, and vibrations
Compensation
- Hourly rate of pay $26 to $34 an hour based on experience

- Year 1 – Employer covers 80% of total (family) premiums
- Years 2 & 3 – Employer covers 90% of total (family) premiums
- Years 4 or more - Employer covers 100% of total (family) premiums
