Heavy Equipment Operator

CCI Companies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team for the upcoming construction season. CCI specializes in utility installation and heavy highway construction across Central and Northern New York.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of Heavy Equipment, including but not limited to excavator, backhoe, loader, bulldozer, and dirt roller
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations
- Adhere to project specifications and timelines

Skills:
- Proficient in installation of utilities and road excavation
- Experience with GPS machine control is a plus
- Ability to dig, load, and transport materials using Heavy Equipment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in operations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
