Heavy Equipment Mechanics (Bradley Fighting Vehicles)

STS Technical Services is hiring Heavy Equipment Mechanics in Fort Cavazos, Texas.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Bradley Mechanic to join our team and assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring Bradley Fighting Vehicles meet production, customer, and contractual requirements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conducting routine tests and inspections, operating equipment, and recording data. This position requires a candidate who can maintain a professional demeanor while interfacing with customers and working at their facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the mechanic in troubleshooting and repairing Bradley Fighting Vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are in compliance with production, customer, and contractual requirements.
• Conduct routine tests and inspections, operating equipment, and recording relevant data.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with customers and working at customer facilities.
• Uphold a safe work environment and always adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Qualify for a USG CAC (Common Access Card) to access US Military Installations and work sites.

Skills Required:

• Minimum general mechanic experience and computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of wheeled or tracked vehicle mechanics, either through military or civilian sector.
• General computer skills for completing required training and daily timecard input without supervision.

Skills Preferred:

• Bradley Fighting Vehicle mechanic experience through military service.

Experience Required:

• General mechanic skills and general computer knowledge.

Experience Preferred:

• Bradley Fighting Vehicle mechanic experience through military service.

Education Required:

• High School Diploma and certificate of training and/or equivalent experience in vehicle maintenance.

Education Preferred:

• High School Diploma and military service-related experience in tracked vehicle maintenance.
