Keen Transport, part of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our Shippensburg, PA location.
This is a full-time position, First Shift, 7:30 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO

• You'll work on Heavy Equipment that requires a high level of skill: hydraulics, electrical, diagnostics and welding.
• Perform all maintenance and repair activities on High and Heavy Equipment
• Install attachments as required by customer
• Drive wheeled machines from discharge or parking location to work areas
• Complete required paperwork/programs for the repair or parts installation on all types of equipment and machinery.
• Adhere to established quality, environmental, and safety standards

Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Understanding of H&H machine repair and attachment installation, (hydraulics, electrical, painting, bodywork)
• Ability to update software in H&H machines, adjusting pressures, etc. using multiple digital platforms
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean Driving Record
• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, preferred
• Ability to read,write, and follow procedures with minimal supervision, blueprints, technical drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics
• Proficiently use hand and power tools-Welders, grinders, torches, etc.
• Welding and forklift certifications required- Welding Qualification range FCAW-G and FCAW-S, Flat, horizontal, vertical with backing (CJP) Carbon and Low Alloy Steels All diameters
