Job Description
- Perform minor and major repairs on Heavy Duty construction equipment, such as backhoes, skid steers, loaders, excavators, dozers, Large forklifts, etc.)
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance heavy off-road construction equipment, including inspections
- Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on machines
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
- Must have own tools (specialty tools provided by company)
- Will preform onsite & offsite repairs (company service vehicle for offsite repairs).
Diesel Mechanic skills:
- 4+ years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Must possess a valid driver license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good reading and writing skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Hydraulic experience
- Ability to work with others
