As a Medicare Enrollment Processor, you will use your health plan and medical office work experience to manage members enrollment requests. You will work as an important part of a highly compliance driven department. You will also utilize your strong data entry skills and your knowledge of Medicare guidelines daily.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports Health Plan sales and operations through comprehensive maintenance of Medicare Special Needs Plans Enrollment.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Retrieves daily enrollment files from CMS website enrollments.
2. Retrieves daily enrollment files from Right Fax.
3. Processes of Broker Enrollment Applications.
4. Verifies plan eligibility through AHCCCS and CMS.
5. Enters data for enrollment information into Siebel daily; enters enrollment information into IDX daily; enters enrollment information in the Application Tracking Log daily.
6. Performs enrollment fulfillment by printing and mailing Acknowledgement Letters, Out of Area and Loss of Medicaid Eligibility Letters.
7. Assists the Enrollment Department with special projects and administrative work.
8. Performs other duties and responsibilities that are consistent with the goals and qualifications of this position.
9. This position generally works within guidelines and policies, but participates and provides input on policy changes within a department or similar departments across the region or company. Incumbent performs essential functions with limited supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
At least two years of experience in a Health Plans environment. Experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Oracle Reports. Experience working with data file management and coordinating among databases to produce reports.
Knowledge of AHCCCS and Medicare Special Needs Plans basics is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
The ability to work independently on a wide range of tasks with increasing levels of difficulty. Strong data entry skills required. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize a high volume of work. Must be extremely organized, work independently and be a dynamic communicator.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
An understanding of the enrollment process preferred. Access database experience a plus; IDX data entry experience preferred.
