Position Summary
The primary purpose of the Pilates Instructor Position for the Health Center at Auraria is to provide Pilates instruction for the Healthy Pursuits Program. The Healthy Pursuits Program is typically coordinated during Fall and Spring semester with occasional offerings during Summer semester and at additional times throughout the year. All Pilates Instructors are required to hold a certificate in Pilates Instruction, can lead students through a cohesive Pilates class while cueing correct form. Teaching safe Pilates classes at the appropriate level is required and if applicable use appropriate music.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead Pilates classes according to the assigned schedule
- Teach safe, effective exercises to a variety of populations
- Maintain a current Pilates certification
- Adhere to employee standards of conduct
- Complete all required staff training
- Record all hours accurately
Required Qualifications
- Hold a minimum of a Pilates Mat Certification
- Have at least 1 year of experience leading a Pilates class
