HEALTH CARE RECRUITER
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center a member of the Medisys Health Network is an accredited Community Based teaching hospital and Level I Trauma and Stroke Center. Regarded as a leading hospital in Queens, New York, we offer a wide variety of patient-centered, expert care to a large and diverse community. We are currently seeking a F/T Onsite Healthcare Recruiter for our Talent Acquisition Department.
Our ideal candidate will be a creative, sales savvy, team-oriented Recruiter with current /recent recruiting experience in a medium to large hospital based union environment. A combination of agency and corporate recruiting experience is a plus.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Managing full cycle recruiting for multiple, complex searches.
- Creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to bring the best talent to each role.
- Developing and executing comprehensive sourcing plans, analyzing requirements to create profiles, and leveraging multiple tactics to build a talented, diverse pool.
- Collaborating closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process to ensure hiring needs and goals are met.
- Managing pipeline activity and maintaining data integrity, and proactively sharing data-centric updates with internal stakeholders.
- Driving offer process - including extending offers, negotiations, and closing candidates.
- Building strong, relationships with senior leaders and critical stakeholders, operating as a trusted advisor and business partner.
- Leading and assisting with Talent Acquisition-related special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- MUST Have minimum 3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a hospital or related union environment.
- MUST HAVE demonstrated ability to prepare and write job descriptions and compelling recruitment advertisements.
- Experience using various recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed.
- Experience sourcing, engaging, and activating passive candidates.
- Experience creating and fostering partnerships with internal leadership and executive teams.
SALARY: $70K - $85K DOE
