Find your purpose helping others while working as a Health Unit Coordinator at the Melrose Hospital!
Our Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) function as a communication link for the team while also providing assistance with our patient's daily activities of living. You will work under the direction of nursing staff and physicians. Responsibilities will include helping patients with bathing, toileting, feeding, greeting and assisting patients/families, coordinating patient appointments, managing telephone communications and performing clerical duties to support patient care.
This position requires a kind heart, caring hands, and the ability to balance assertiveness with understanding.
Position Details:
- Full-time position
- Working 60-72 hours every two weeks
- Alternating shifts: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm and 7:00 pm – 7:30 am
- Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Nursing Assistant certification (CNA) preferred
- Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and ability to work effectively with patients and /or patient families, personnel, medical staff and general public
