Health Technician (Title 32) (Indefinite)

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a Health Technician, Position Description Number D2061000and is part of the DSS, National Guard.

Qualifications:

NOTE: Qualifications are based on breadth/level of experience. WHO CAN APPLY:
GROUP I - All qualified Male/Female Enlisted Personnel (E1/PV1-E5/SGT) currently employed (permanent) in the Virginia Army National Guard Military Technician Program.
GROUP II - All qualified Virginia Army National Guard Male/Female Enlisted Personnel (E1/PV1-E5/SGT), regardless of employment status (Traditional, Military Technician or AGR). To be considered as a Group II applicant, proof of appointment/enlistment in the Virginia National Guard must be attached if the appointment/enlistment occurred within 60 days prior to, or during, the advertisement period.
Military Grades: Enlisted Personnel (E1/PV1-E5/SGT)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have experience or training which demonstrates that you have the ability to organize assignments for subordinates, estimate material and manpower needed for specific jobs; the ability to explain manuals and work procedures; and to prepare production records, work records and reports.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-06 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government? This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the WG grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as:

1. Experience in a variety of administrative/clerical support functions to ensure the effective operation of the office.
2. Experience in developing and providing regular/recurring IMR reports to subordinate units to support the scheduling of annual medical readiness requirements.
3. Experience providing guidance and assistance to subordinate unit personnel in the completion and maintenance of medical readiness information required for individual mobilization packets.
4. Experienced in collection, input, and management of medical readiness information.
