Job description

This National Guard position is for a Health System Specialist (INDEF) (Title 32), Position Description Number D1119000 and is part of the UT MEDDET located at Camp Williams with the Utah Army National Guard.
The selecting supervisor is LTC Chalmers.
IAW UTNGR 690-12 dated AUG 2022 and LIUNA-UTARNG CBA dated 11 OCT 2022, Priority will be given to all current, onboard employees of the UTARNG.Qualifications: *Your resume must reflect in detail how the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer meets the below listed general and specialized experience required for the position.
**Must include beginning and ending dates of employment stated as MM/YYYY; and total hours worked per week in order to determine part time vs. full time credit.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-09:
Must have at least1 year of experience at a GS-0671-07 or above.
OR have at least 24 months of military or civilian working experiences of the basic principles and practices related to the management of health care delivery systems. Military or civilian working knowledge is required in general clerical procedures; medical terminology; regulations, and directives; medical ethics; health records administration; principles of coding; and anatomy or physiology programs. Must have at least 12 months military or civilian experience at a novice competency level in one of the medical service core functions, which are prescribed as: Health facilities, health plan management, medical resources, health care information management and information technology, medical logistics, or medical readiness (including aeromedical evacuation). Have military or civilian working experiences and knowledge in analyzing and recommending solutions to complicated problems. Experienced in developing and implementing various policies and procedures used in the state medical programs. Experienced in various administrative areas such as budget, personnel and public relations within a medical unit or medical activity.Education: Army National Guard Enlisted
Must have a high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is optimum in health care administration, general science, biology, psychology, or other closely-related medical degree fields.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
