As a **Health Services Medical Assistant **supporting **Occupational Health Clinics, **you will be trusted to aid in direct patient care under the direct supervision of a medical provider that is congruent with state regulations at Houston, TX.
In this role, a typical day will include:Administer injections, screening tests, acquire laboratory specimens, rooming patients during clinic visits, and other patient care-related tasks.
Assist with administrative functions, including but not limited to scheduling patient appointments, maintaining updated quality logs, OSHA Forms, and patient records, and ordering and inventorying supplies.
Facilitate clear and timely communication of employees’ work status with key organizational partners to support daily operations.
Additionally, this role performs various activities supporting functional areas such as finance, purchasing, human resources, or for a specific project/business/technical
unit.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Work hours: M-F, between 7am – 7pm
