Integrated Health 21 (IH21) is a leading provider of worksite wellness screenings and vaccination clinics across the continental United States. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA with offices in Syracuse, NY and Milwaukee, WI; IH21 partners with employers and insurance companies to customize health and wellness events with the goal of improving health and wellness of their employees and insured.
We are increasing our Biometric Screening staff in the Dyersburg, Fayettteville, Greenfield, and Jackson areas. This would include screeners experienced with venipuncture and/or finger stick and have experience performing wellness screening events. Screening staff will take part in wellness events at various client sites to promote health awareness and education that typically take place during early weekday mornings.
This is a PRN, as-needed position with no guarantee of hours
Responsibilities
- Perform biometric screenings at client sites to include collecting blood samples by venipuncture or finger stick; measuring manual blood pressure, gathering height, weight, BMI, and waist measurements.
- Provide basic health review based on individual screening results.
- Provide excellent customer service at all health screening events.
- Perform basic testing procedures on blood samples and complete required quality control.
- Understand and comply with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
- Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Travel is required to screening event locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one solid year in work experience with venipuncture and/or finger sticks
- CPR certification
- Requires ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds regularly; may be necessary to push/pull up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours (75% of workday)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Familiar with infection control policies and procedures
