JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the agency’s Clinical Director, Health Justice Behavioral Health Professional is responsible for providing direct client care under the supervision of the Clinical Director. The Health Justice Behavioral Health Professional also maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per company policies, procedures and best practices; communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Provides direct support services to include engaging clients in Individual and Group Therapy, topics related to various recovery modalities (i.e. 12-Step, SMART, etc), health and wellness promotion, and crisis management.
2. Conducts assessments or screenings with clients to evaluate the nature of their presenting problems in order to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plan goals.
3. Develops and provides individual treatment plans; monitors, evaluates, and documents client’s progress.
4. Has responsibility for intake and assessment documentation. Prepares clinical progress notes, event notifications, and other documentation regarding clients in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
5. Monitors case load daily (approximately 10-15 clients) to ensure required documentation is completed timely; including, but not limited to, assessments, treatment plans, case reviews and discharge, aftercare, and relapse prevention plans.
6. Facilitates coordination of care to include case review, therapeutic interventions, and client progress in treatment.
7. Responsible for ownership of all clinical responsibilities, including collaboration with other agency staff to ensure effective resolution of client, family, insurance, and documentation concerns.
8. Serves as initial point of contact for coordination of care for all assigned client concerns, crisis intervention, and collaboration with external parties, including client family members, community providers, and other agency members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
o Documented completion of a Master’s Degree
o Independent AzBBHE licensure required
o AZDPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
o Negative TB Screening (within 1 year)
Additional Preferred Experience/Certifications:
o Current CPR/First Aid Certification
o Therapeutic Interventions for Trauma (ex: EMDR, Brainspotting, CCTP, TF-CBT)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
