Health Data Analyst/Architect

Posting Summary
Provide advanced data analytic support for clinical datasets and research data projects. Collaborate with programmers, database administrators and IT security to identify, import, assemble, clean, and analyze health research data. Consult with faculty to use micro- and macro-system level data extracted and procured from EMR data systems, clinical and disease specific registries as well as Medicare and other large scale population databases to answer research questions. Manage data extraction, data quality, and data harmonization.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree and one to three years related experience with Microsoft SQL or other database technologies required. Knowledge of statistical analysis software packages required. Effective oral and written communication skills required.

Desirable Qualifications
Experience in Health Services Research, Biostatistics or related quantitative field with biomedical/scientific research experience desirable. Knowledge of statistical analysis software packages such as SAS and Stata desirable. Experience with ETL methodologies and security procedures desirable.
