SalaryThis position is responsible for providing wellness coaching to customers through assessment, education, support, and referrals to various health and wellness programs. Works with employees one-on-one to assist in meeting health and wellness goals related to weight, nutrition, exercise, stress, work/life balance and general health. The Health Coach will use motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques to help people achieve optimal health and well-being either telephonically or by direct face-to-face interaction.
Ideal Candidate:
-Bachelor’s degree preferred BUT NOT required
- Would prefer a minimum 1-year experience or some internship in a Corporate Wellness or Healthcare setting
- Health coaching certification required within 6 months of employment
-Experience in health promotion or work site wellness preferred
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to provide patient education
-Proficiency in use of computer applications and typing skills (>35 wpm) highly recommended
-Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing processes and schedule requirements
- Also, will be conducting biometeric/wellness screenings and SOME travel is REQUIRED.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
