Obesity is a disease, and our societal understanding of this condition is embarrassingly wrong. At Mindful Wellness, we combine the vanguard of evidence based medications with a comprehensive and holistic approach that helps all our patients lose weight. We root what we do in compassion for our patients and our treatment course can be described as a combination of science-based medication management with therapy, mindfulness and coaching.
We are a concierge medicine startup with plans to scale to several states. At this time, we are in startup mode and don't offer benefits, but this will change in a year where health insurance, 401Ks, PTO, vacation will be included. We have 2 locations, Manhattan Beach, CA and Las Vegas, NV, however we do telehealth appointments for 9 additional states.
We are seeking a compassionate and mindful Health Coach/Marketer to join our rapidly growing concierge wellness practice. The Health Coach with Sales Experience position is responsible for guiding individuals in achieving their wellness goals through personalized coaching sessions, introducing new patients to the clinic and having initial consultations. Health Coach certification is a must.
In addition to health expertise, this role involves leveraging sales skills to promote and sell Mindful Wellness services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, motivational, and sales abilities to effectively engage potential patients in adopting a healthier lifestyle while meeting sales targets. This position has a base salary, plus generous incentives to meet specific goals.
This is a full-time position, expected to work at the clinic 50% of the time and 50% canvassing or at networking events and follow ups. Our goal is to build up our Las Vegas location through these connections.
Starting salary is $20/hour (based on experience and certifications), additional bonus structure on sales and retention.
Experience with obesity medical management is preferred but not required as all the specifics of our approach will be taught in-house. The most important attribute for our ideal candidate will be empathy and communication skills. Other preferred requirements, qualifications, duties, and attributes as below:
- Passionate about working with patients struggling with obesity and empathetic about helping this population of patients
- A dynamic individual who thrives on networking and is enthusiastic about expanding our practice
- Comfortable approaching businesses for partnerships
- Good at responding to patients quickly and providing excellent customer service
- Confidant working in a concierge practice
- Comfortable working in a health care startup with plans to scale up dramatically
- Seeing patients both in person and virtually
- Communicate with patients on appointment scheduling and treatment progress
- Keep thorough records of all patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
- 1+ years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
