Challenging athletes to pursue sport with Christian character and compete courageously with teammates.
Volleyball Program
The volleyball program at Holland Christian officially began in 1971 along with a host of other women's sports around that time. The program joined the Ottawa-Kent Conference in 2003 and will compete in the OK Black Division beginning with the 2024 season. Success on the court includes 20 MHSAA District Championships, 10 Conference Championships, 2 State Runner Up finishes and 1 State Championship in 2008. There is strong involvement and interest in youth volleyball for elementary and middle school students currently in place both during the school year and for summer camps. Coaches are equipped with new volleyball equipment, assistant stipends and Hudl video technology for statistics and game preparation.

Communicate well with administration, coaches, parents, but especially with student-athletes.

Focus on the process of athlete development and the daily disciplines needed over time.
Supportive of multiple sports and performance training for athletes alongside outside commitments.
Experienced with the ability to lead varsity and all levels in the program in both skill and scheme.
Display Commitment
Passionate and excited to prepare well for all aspects of directing and serving the program.
Display a competitive spirit and high expectation for coaching growth and student growth.
Use resources stewardly with a strong ability to advocate for program resources to benefit athletes.
