Farmingdale State College is a Division III member of the NCAA, competing in the Skyline Conference, offering 18 intercollegiate sports. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the softball program, including but not limited to recruitment and retention of student-athletes, practice and game preparation, scheduling, budget administration, fundraising efforts, and the hiring and supervision of assistant coaches. The candidate will be expected to adhere to all Skyline and NCAA Division III rules and regulations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the athletics department's travel coordination, including the scheduling and management of all team travel needs. This is a 10-month position. Additional duties may be assigned by the Director of Athletics.
This title is in Appendix B of the SUNY Policies of the Board of Trustees and, as a consequence, incumbents serving in this title are not eligible for permanent appointment (tenure), but instead receive renewable term appointments.

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ten years of softball coaching experience on the collegiate level.
- Five years of travel coordination experience.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Experience in recruiting qualified student-athletes.
- Driver's license required.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time 10-month UUP position.
- For the first 10 working days, beginning Thursday, December 14, 2023, and ending Thursday, December 28, 2023, applications will be limited to UUP Farmingdale.

- SALARY: $52,000 + $3,087 in downstate location pay = $55,087 Total Compensation. Salary may increase commensurate with experience.
