Head Performance Coach
General Coaching Responsibilities
■ Coach the best sessions
■ Facility cleanliness daily and deep cleans 2x per month.
■ Maintain active personal training certification. (Listed Below)
■ Support community events led by the facility and work as a team player. example: Pop-Up Workouts, Family Fit Day/ Mega Workout, No shower happy hour and other community events.
Leadership Responsibilities
■ SET THE BAR - personally develop, engage in the brand and coaches’ community, and attend all launch calls and future development.
■ Own your coaching staff. Set the standard and demand everyone meet it or exceed it.
■ Leadership Mtg Weekly w/ Facility Manager & Franchise Partner.
■ Recognition - Create a culture of recognition - Recognize each Coach minimum 1x/week.
■ Weekly Coaches Huddle - Review Facility Goals, Programming / Protocol for the week, discuss any member needs, post-session announcements, and 1 Coaches Topic to focus on for the week. (Ex: High Fives, Names, Coaching Up, The Sales Hand-off, upcoming promotions, etc)
■ ABT Schedule Proactively (30 Days in advance and on the app)
■ Recruiting / Hire / Managing - Manage performance and always be recruiting new talent.
■ Onboard New Coaches - ISI® Certify New Coaches using the path in the FranConnect.
■ Check-list - Each coach including Head Performance Coach 1 x per month at minimum w/ conversation and notes following up for areas of opportunity and strength. Actively give any necessary feedback, good or bad, on any coach’s session you attend. *check-list more for new Coached until they are delivering an ISI® experience 100% of the time.
■ Member Accountability - Connecting with members to keep them engaged through accountability conversations, personal touches, and social media posts.
■ Review facility needs and equipment. Provide to Facility Manager/Franchise Partner for updates.
Certifications Needed
■ ISI® Elite Training Head Performance Coach must hold a current NCCA personal training certification. The following CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) Certifications will be accepted as sufficient accreditation for an ISI® Head Performance Coach (must be the NCCA approved CPT if there are 2 options):

● ● NESTA - National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association
● ● NETA - National Exercise Trainers Association
● ● NFPT - National Federation of Professional Trainers
● ● NSCA - National Strength and Conditioning Association
● ● W.I.T.S. - World Instructor Training Schools
■ HPCs are required to have a current CPR and AED certification.
■ All ISI® Elite Training Head Performance Coaches must attend and pass Iron U Coaches Training in order to earn the ISI® Coaches Certification signed by headquarters.
