We are looking for a Head of Risk MIS & Reporting to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.


We are revolutionizing access to credit by providing a seamless mobile experience for healthcare consumers desiring access to financing programs to pay for their healthcare expenses. As part of our Risk team, you will leverage your expertise and knowledge to help us analyze applicant credit decisions and the applicant information provided.


This is a fantastic opportunity to join iCreditWorks as Head of Risk MIS & Reporting. Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, this role will be accountable for the production of high-quality reports and analytic capabilities for internal and external consumers.


Role Overview

  • Responsible for the production of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports from both regulatory compliance and MIS perspective. Analyze key drivers of period over period movements and provide business driver commentary. Evaluate credit performance of existing products and forecasts, including loan portfolio reports and asset quality.
  • Participate in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad hoc deliverables to external partners, regulators, and senior management.
  • Monitor and evaluate underwriting and loan performance on an ongoing basis to inform improvements.
  • Develop and support data structures that are critical to credit origination, portfolio management, and MIS reporting. Participate in the ongoing process improvements, optimizations, and rationalization efforts.
  • Work with tech, data engineering and DW/BI teams to develop/operate end user controls. Collaborate with data team to ensure underlying data driving reports is accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Own the data and processes for formal reporting and ad hoc analytics. This role will have the final authority on quality and consistency of reporting across the organization.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for transformation of data into actionable information that drives business outcomes, strategies, and risk control development.
  • Motivate, mentor, develop and scale a team of analysts and data scientists.
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding data aggregation, strategies, resources, and operations of Risk analytics to meet business objectives.


Knowledge/Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in risk and/or finance information analytics and implementation of data management related initiatives.
  • 5+ years of credit risk experience in consumer lending. Proficient in development and usage of portfolio credit risk MIS, strong understanding of key credit risk performance metrics, and consumer credit concepts.
  • Advanced data management and report building skills are important, coupled with strong financial, accounting, computer literacy, time management, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Python, Excel, and SQL is required.
  • Candidate must be an effective communicator and comfortable leading discussions with senior executives.
  • A high level of commitment and attention to detail are required to succeed in the role.
