Head of Renewals Operations and  Programs

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Head of Renewals Operations and  Programs to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing our customer renewals programs, ensuring that we maintain strong customer relationships and maximize revenue from existing customers. You will collaborate closely with Sales Operations to streamline processes, enhance systems, and provide the necessary enablement to our renewals teams. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing renewals plays and refining our go-to-market approach.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

  1. Renewals Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive renewals strategy that includes customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and engagement models to achieve renewal targets.
  2. Collaboration with Operations Teams: Work closely with IT and Operations team to ensure that systems, processes, and tools are aligned with the needs of the renewals teams, enabling them to efficiently manage renewals.
  3. Partner Programs: Collaborate with our partner ecosystem to create effective renewal programs. Establish partner engagement models to drive renewals, upsell and cross sell activities.
  4. Customer Communications: Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted communications for customers at the time of renewal. Ensure that the right messaging reaches the right customers, facilitating a seamless and personalized renewal experience aHead of pitches for uplifts and offering shifts.
  5. Renewals Plays and Playbooks: Develop and refine renewals plays and playbooks, including upsell and cross-sell strategies, to maximize renewal rates and revenue.
  6. Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in the renewals process, and use this information to make data-driven decisions..
  7. Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the renewals process, identifying areas for efficiency gains and customer satisfaction improvements.

 

Skills and qualifications for this role include:

 

  • 4 – 6 Years of experience working with a SaaS software company
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in renewals management in a SaaS or software company.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and the customer lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable successful customer engagement and internal collaboration.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute renewals strategies.
  • Experience in collaborating with IT, Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance and cross-functional teams.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $137,800.00 MIN –  180,000.00 MAX per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes, but is not limited to, group medical, dental and vision benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, flexible paid vacation, 10 paid annual company holidays, 9 days of annual paid sick leave (prorated upon hire), up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave, and mental and emotional wellbeing benefits.
