Head of Production Operations (Aerospace exp req) Description
Our client in the aerospace industry is looking for a Head of Production Operations to add to their team in Merritt Island, FL. As the Head of Production Operations, you will have authority over all production-related activities. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring production deliveries are in line with the Master Production Schedule and that production is on cost, on time, and on quality. You will work hand in hand with the program's operational management teams to define and execute update or recovery plans. Head of Production Operations (Aerospace exp req) Responsibilities
● Manage Production
● Ensure the daily coordination of all production-related tasks
● Ensure that program and production requirements are flowed down and supported
● Ensure the readiness of all production-related elements
● Prepare and execute Standard production reviews such as MRR and TRB
● Establish and maintain key performance indicators
● Control the proper application of qualified processes and applicable specifications
● Maintain and develop a healthy, integrated team at all levels of the organization
● Maintain industrial credibility along with honest and open communication with all parties
● Drive a Safety and Quality-first culture on the Production team
● Foster collaboration within the Operations organization
Head of Production Operations (Aerospace exp req) Qualifications
● BS in industrial, engineering management or operations management required
● 8+ years of experience in a highly technical production environment required
● 5+ years of senior operational management experience required
● 5+ years of Aerospace industry experience required
● Experience in operations and production flow management required
