Labcorp is the largest diagnostics and research laboratory in the world, and the Labcorp OnDemand business is rapidly growing and leading innovator in the field of consumer-initiated testing programs. With a mission to empower individuals to take control of their health through accessible and convenient testing, Labcorp OnDemand is at the forefront of shaping the future of healthcare.

Labcorp is looking for an exceptional Director of Consumer Products (Head of Product Development, Labcorp OnDemand) for the consumer-initiated lab testing business. This highly visible leader is responsible for managing product portfolio strategy and full life-cycle Product Development. The incumbent will lead a team of Product managers who will manage categories of consumer-facing lab tests across the full life-cycle and will collaborate across the enterprise to drive successful launch and scale.

The ideal candidate would reside on the east coast.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage Labcorp’s scientific leadership to expand direct to consumer product offerings for both home collection products and offerings through Labcorp’s patient services centers.

  • Define the product roadmap based on the performance and feedback of the OnDemand products and services, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Product managers.

  • Drive cross-functional coordination to accelerate launch timing for new products within our consumer business.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across digital, operations, legal, and regulatory.

  • Drive product strategy and development in compliance with regulatory bodies and requirements.

  • Prioritize the product roadmap based on multiple factors including customer need, market opportunity, strategic rationale, and ability to deliver.

  • Regularly evaluate the competitive and landscape to inform strategic planning.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and best practices in the healthcare and consumer services industries, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Build long-lasting mutually beneficial partnerships across product, marketing, and technology.

Experience Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.

  • At least 12 years of experience in the healthcare or consumer products industries, with a proven track record of bringing new products, services, and strategic partnerships to market.

  • Extensive expertise in Product Development and management in a science-driven/healthcare setting.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, defining opportunities with limited information and making informed decisions.

  • Practiced in influencing across matrixed organizations.

  • Proven ability to successfully drive projects from concept to realization, with strong adherence to timelines.

  • Experience in a digitally centered business, with a deep understanding of ecommerce, data, analytics, apps and more.

  • Familiarity with navigating and making progress in a larger, matrixed organization.

  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse and talented team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels, both internally and externally.

  • A passion for health and wellness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality and innovative solutions that enhance the lives of our consumers.

Pay Range: $140,000 - $165,000 annually + annual bonus and equity eligibility
