An ideal L&D Manager - Global candidate will have experience in HR / HCM / SaaS in enterprise software deployments. Our clients are restaurants, restaurant groups, hotels and service retail, so having a solid understanding and appreciation for the hospitality and service industry is key! You're a strategic leader, resourceful, self-sufficient, and self-starter, with a proven history of solving problems, and getting things done.

Responsibilities Lead a team in developing and implementing effective learning strategies for outcome-driven training of customers and Harri employees Assess Harrier development needs, evaluate options to support those needs, deliver solutions and gauge results Lead daily activities of the team to ensure that all work is completed according to scheduled deadlines with attention to quality standards, priorities and overall goals Partner with all departments across Harri as stakeholders in the overall Learning and Development lifecycle. Integrate with stakeholders' process workflows, enhancing them with strategic approaches and optimized learning deliverables Manage team through alignment of skills, capacity and growth opportunities Train and mentor team members and identify development needs across the team, including growth within their role, department and beyond.

Track various productivity and performance standards to ensure that established levels are achieved, especially during critical activity periods Evaluate performance and complete annual performance appraisals. Work in collaboration to establish Individual Development Plans. Develop and administer corrective action and performance improvement plans, with hire/fire authority in conjunction with Human Resources.

Manage budgetary responsibility as applicable. Participate in task forces, strategic initiatives, stretch assignments and collaboration opportunities with other business units Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree At least 5 years of experience in L&D, ideally in SaaS industry At least 2-3 years of proven, successful L&D Leadership experience in SaaS industry Experience in leading remote teams is required, ideally globally CLDP and other certifications preferred Preference will be given to candidates who have the following: Training development and delivery experience Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of internal and external contacts verbally and in writing Excellent collaboration, organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions Ability to work and thrive in a team environment focused on achieving results Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with all levels of management Ability to assess team members' performance and provide motivational support Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong client relationship building skills Ability to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise and escalate to the appropriate level Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems Prior leadership training
