We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Head of Creative Production to join our Marketing & Communications team and lead Creative Production across the company. This role is located in New York, NY – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Managing all internal and external Creative Production and project allocation based on timing, skillset, budget, and priority.
Managing resource utilization across internal creative team, our roster of partners, and contractors while also identifying and onboarding new partners and contractors when needed.
Developing, managing, and overseeing creative process cross-functionally, across key points of collaboration, elevating any pain points in internal process to identify learnings, achieve resolution, improve for subsequent projects, and adapt effortlessly to changing project environments.
Leading and managing creative producers responsible for production support and project intake through our content orchestration platform to support efficient execution of campaign deliverables. Manage and mentor future producers on the team.
Developing and presenting production budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and addresses production related questions for stakeholders across the company. Contribute to the growth and education of the greater COE on production best practices.
Multi-tasking and managing multiple projects at the same time, always acting with urgency and intention, doing whatever it takes to find solutions, meet deadlines, and create successful outcomes.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. 8+ years of Creative Manager or Production Manager experience in a creative agency or in-house team.
Strong and up-to-date knowledge of, and experience with, Creative Production process best practices, best-in-class production partners and vendor selection, onboarding, and management.
Experience coordinating, directing contractors and agencies, and managing in-house designers.
Experience with managing logistics for video/still shoots including pre/post-production.
Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $119,000 and $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
