The Head of Office for Hyundai CRADLESilicon Valley will be part of a Silicon Valley-based team of professionals engagingin creating corporate innovation for the HMG.
Responsibilities
As the Head of HyundaiCRADLE Silicon Valley, you will play a pivotal role in setting the creativedirection for our business models of future mobility and spreading the impact ofcreativity and innovation throughout HMG. Your main responsibilities would be:
Define new opportunity to drive business dynamics aligned with the HMG's focusareas (MECA, Robot, UAM, AI) and to foster future business models for HMG.
Design creativeconcepts of product/service that blend technology for customer-centric businessmodels.
Demonstrate concepts ofcollaboration between internal and external stakeholders (tech firms, startups,research institutions) through Proof-of Concept, joint development, commercialization,and strategic investment.
Cultivate and leveragerelationships with tech professionals to access cutting-edge technologies and newideas in order to spread technical insights to the management at the HQ.
Lead and drive innovativeactivities with the desire of inspiring change and setting new standards in theindustry, challenging conventions, and influencing the course of creative andtechnological progress.
Build and guide a teamof professionals in product development, strategic investment, and partnershipby providing mentorship and inspiration to drive innovation initiatives withinthe organization.
Qualifications
Exhibit anentrepreneurial mindset by identifying opportunities for growth, creating newventures or partnerships, and driving innovation-driven initiatives.
Proven track record ofdriving innovative projects for technical product development andcommercialization with the ability to clearly articulate product vision, andinfluence strategic direction based on that vision.
Extensive,referenceable network of contacts and further development of local network byutilizing HMC's brand value and dealing with local partners in globaltechnology sector.
Understand thetechnology and industrial trend in Automotive Tech, Mobility, and Smart Devicesarea.
Proven success inmanaging people and building innovative organizational culture in across-functional environment to encourage and motivate team members to maximizethe utilization of their capabilities with fairness and respect.
Ability to proactivelyengage with internal stakeholders to provide technical roadmaps and insights basedon the identification of emerging technologies and market trends.
Demonstrate financialacumen and fiscal responsibility in projects under her or his management toensure they are financially sound and stay within budget guidelines.
