Collegiate School seeks a Head Middle School Boys’ Lacrosse Coach.. Coaches are expected to teach, train, condition, and coach all team members as well as plan, evaluate, manage and coordinate all aspects of the team in regards to practice and games. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to help develop a competitive program that is committed to the creation of student athletes who demonstrate a commitment to academics, strong fundamental skills and sportsmanship. Coaches must be able to show and teach basic and advanced skills to players at every position and help individual players to improve.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student athletes

  • Work with the Head Varsity Lacrosse coach to assist in the development of the program

  • Ensure appropriate communication with students, parents and community regarding the volleyball program

  • Support the leadership and development of coaching staff

  • Understand and embrace the demands on student athletes at Collegiate

  • A minimum of two years of Lacrosse Coaching experience is preferred

Season Commitment: mid-February through mid-May

Time Commitment:

Season practices are held Monday - Thursday (3:45 - 5:30) and Fridays (2:45 - 4:30). Typically there will be two nights a week with games starting anytime between 4:00pm - 7:30pm. No weekend commitments.

  • Understands the need for growth and is receptive to constructive feedback.
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times.
