The Head Coach, Women's Soccer /Event Manager is responsible for all aspects of the development and administration of a successful NCAA Division III Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Program. The program will be conducted in accordance with all University and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules, regulations, and policies.

Coaching/Teaching Duties
- Teach and develop sport-specific skills in a successful, safe and prudent manner.
- Create, present, and maintain records of up-to-date lesson plans for pre-season/season practice drills and procedures detailing the desired goals to be achieved.
- Schedule practice and game preparation sessions, conduct post game analysis and incorporate into lesson plans.
Administrative Duties
- Conduct an ongoing recruitment program through a variety of methods, both on and off the court with the goal to attract, select and encourage enrollment of high caliber student-athletes.
- Initiate new ideas and methods to improve the program in support of the University goal of a successful conference and attainment of a regional and national level NCAA ranking.
- Serve as the Event Manager for home events including scheduling staff, managing outside resources, arranging for equipment and Event setup/breakdown.
Additional Functions
- Fundraise for the Women's Soccer program and coordinate and support fundraising efforts.
- Uphold NCAA, and other conference affiliation rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a sports related field.
- Three to five years' experience in sports coaching and knowledge of the fundamentals, tactics and strategies of intercollegiate sports with the ability to recruit talented players for the program.
- Knowledge of conducting an intercollegiate program within the confines of the rules and regulations of the NCAA, and other conference affiliations including eligibility, recruiting, and fundraising.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to function in a service and team-oriented environment.
- Ability to function independently, display strong attention to detail, work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a variety of individuals, University community including faculty, students, staff, parents and alumni.
- Ability to advise and motivate student-athletes.
- Must be able to travel as required.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a sports related discipline.
