Position Overview: Boys Basketball- Head Coach
Length of stipend: Winter
Summary: Leads the planning, directing, and overseeing operations of the Boys Basketball program at Nicollet Middle School.

Position Overview: Boys Basketball- Head Coach

Summary: Leads the planning, directing, and overseeing operations of the Boys Basketball program at Nicollet Middle School.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of State, Federal, and ISD 191 School Board Policies regarding student conduct and appropriate disciplinary action.
- Evidence of and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with coworkers, parents, community members, supervisor, and students.
- Ability to receive feedback and adjust accordingly.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to further the benefits of student participation in co-curricular activities.
- Ability to perform essential job functions.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory, storage, and order necessary equipment and uniforms for the Boys Basketball programs at Nicollet Middle School
- Assist the Nicollet Middle School Associate Principal, athletic coordinator, and head Basketball Coach in the recruitment, hiring, and support of coaches for the Nicollet Middle School athletics program as necessary.
- Assist in the marketing, recruitment, and retention of student athletes for the Boys Basketball program at Nicollet Middles School.
- Assist the head coach and athletic coordinator to secure transportation and busing for away contests for each athletic team.
- Reserve facilities spaces at Nicollet Middle School for practices and home competitions in conjunction with the head coach and athletic coordinator.
- Work in partnership with the Burnsville Athletic Director, sports coordinator, and head coach in securing referees for home athletic competitions.
- Coordinate the use of and replacement of athletic resources as necessary.
- Work to secure staff as workers for the scorer table for certain home athletic competitions.
