Leopardo, an exciting new restaurant in Mid-Wilshire, is looking to hire a Head Bartender. We seek an imaginative and resourceful individual with expertise in beverage techniques and culinary trends. Candidates should thrive in creative challenges. A minimum of 4 years of bartending experience is required. Culinary, NRO experience, and/or management experience are advantageous.
We seek hospitality professionals from upscale dining backgrounds who are passionate about guest experience and fostering a great team culture. Ideal candidates are outgoing and excel in building relationships with guests to create memorable dining experiences.
Service Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a culture of hospitality
- Work 5 floor service shifts/week
- Be able to work calmly and professionally under pressure and act as a leader in difficult situations.
- Guest connections all across the dining room.
Administrative
- Office management and organization skills such as email communication and document edits.
- Establish systems in order to streamline processes and production.
Employee Relations
- Coach employees to improve themselves in a constructive and positive way.
- Monitoring and observing how your team is performing.
Bar Management Tasks
- Coordinate with Culinary Team on daily, weekly and seasonal beverage updates
- Insure Bar team is sticking to Specs and guidelines Provided during training
- Insure Bar team is keeping up with Cleaning and organization of Bar Area
- Coordinate training of all new hires within bar team
- Participate in r&d for new cocktail changes each season
- Communicating with Bar Team with specific needs and pars
- Update bar menu descriptions specs and checklists for bar sidework
Position Skills & Demands:
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
- Able to communicate effectively and concisely
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to work in a fast pace, noisy environment
Compensation:
-$21.00-$27.00 plus tips
